VENICE TRAVEL JOURNAL
Venice seems to capture art in motion. The landscape enveloped us with its glittering canals, arched bridges, and misty mornings. Despite the exhaustion of travel, the unceasing beauty of the city gave me more than enough strength to continue the journey. Every twist and turn was a new chapter
added to my travel journal, a tangible memory. While navigating locations like the Giardini and Arsenale, I found
myself lost, captured, in an experience that evoked several main concepts of my travel course:
Inheritance, Riskscape, and conservation. Past, present, future.
Thank you to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, The Alice Shaver Foundation, and Melanie Mowinski for making this trip possible.
